A Spiritualist, Madam Juliana Aboagye, better known as Mama Destiny of the Immortal Redeemer Spiritual Institute at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region, has dedicated her new book entitled; “The Dream Basket” to ex-President Jerry John Rawlings and his wife, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings.

The 47-page book, which would be launched next month, consists of dreams and their interpretations, as well as some bible teachings. Though the Rawlings family has not yet set eyes on the book, Mama Destiny said her outfit has consulted the office of the ex-President, and arrangements were being finalised for them to receive a copy.

Letting The Chronicle into what fueled her decision to dedicate the yet-to-be launched book to the former Head of State and his wife, the author and spiritualist indicated that her reason was to honour them for the kind of marriage and lifestyle they have exhibited over the years.

According to her, the marriage and lifestyle of the Rawlingses is worthy of emulation to married couples, since most marriages of personalities of their caliber have not been able to stand the test of time.

“In my quest to trace the efforts of people who had contributed enormously to the cause and advocacy for fundamental human rights and freedom in Ghana, one name stood tall among the others, and that name was no other person than ex-President Jerry John Rawlings and his wife.

“Mr. and Mrs. Rawlings have laid down their lives for this country since 1992 up to date! I am a spiritualist who believes women and children are the ones who suffer most when the basic fundamental human rights are not adhered to in a country, and for the Rawlings family to have fought for the welfare of women and children all these years, Ghanaian women and the youth must learn from their moral life and the kind of unity in their marriage, and practice it,” Mama Destiny noted.

She appealed to the government to honour statesmen like ex-President J.A Kufuor and other heroes who have fought for the good of this country, while they are still alive.

The Spiritualist called on Ghanaians to jealously guide against any temptation that would plunge the country into chaos, as the country prepares for the November 7 general elections.
