”Stars, Ghana’s Favourite beer Brewed from the finest quality of malted barley, sugar, maize grits, hops, water and yeast. Star Larger beer not only offers every drinker the richest and smoothest taste in beer, but also unlocks the joy of life with sparkling brightness”.
Behind this advertising façade comes the fact that the so-called premium STAR BEER is infested with debris and foreign particles.
After weeks of complaints from consumers of Star that they have been noticing foreign particles in their drink, The Enquirer has finally obtained a sample which contains debris such as the plastic remains of Tom Tom toffees. Sample of the much favoured Star beer in possession of The Enquirer is full of debris.
A drinking bar operator (name withheld) for now, told the Enquirer that, this is the second time he has come across such debris in firmly sealed bottles of Star beer. He said the first incident was in December 24, last year when he found a cockroach in a bottle of star but took it as an ordinary issue and threw the drink away.
But alas, on June 18, this year, he procurred some stock and fouund out that a bottle, firmly sealed, was full of debris.
Stay tune.
