Get more stories on former president John Mahama here on YEN.com.gh It has been almost four months since Mahama handed over power to the current president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but it seems some sect of Ghanaians are not done with blaming him for everything that goes wrong.

And John Mahama and his team, won't have any of that.

The Special Aide to former president, Joyce Bawa Mogtari made a statement describing allegations by some group of people as a concocted lie which should not be paid attention to.

The group had allegedly claimed that John Mahama was everything in his power to make free SHS as promised by the Nana Addo-led government a failure.

In the statement, Mrs Mogtari expressed absolute shock that some people will be making these allegations against the former leader.

She asked, "how is it possible, for a person who does not control government’s kitty to make it impossible for the government to implement its policy initiative?" According to her, it is evident that the New Patriotic Party had no clear plans on how to implement the free SHS campaign promise.

"It is obviously evident, as previously noted by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Minority in Parliament, that government has no plans and has outlined none on how it is going to fulfil the many promises it made to the people of Ghana".
