Social Commentator with strong inclination to the NDC, Allotey Jacobs has described as unfortunate comments made by Sam George after he won the Ningo-Prampram primaries narrowly.

"If it is true he made those statement, it’s most unfortunate. The best thing for him to do is to go to the house of his former Chairman, embrace him and bring him on board and even make him his campaign Manager to solidify your votes in that constituency."

"Sam George has too many enemies in his constituency...but God was on his side and so he should give thanks to God," he noted on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo'.

The MP for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George, has accused the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) of sponsoring his opponent Michael Kwetey Tetteh during the recent National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries.

According to him, some powerful individuals in government told him they were going to make sure he loses his seat during the parliamentary primaries.

“A very key person in the government said to me that, ‘look we are taking you out . . . you can go up and come, we will take you out’ . . . and I saw the mighty hand of the state in this elections,” he alleged.

Meanwhile, Allotey Jacobs has advised the Ningo Prampram MP to maintain unity in his constituency as the party seeks to win the 2020 elections.

"The electorates need to see unity and not division…you need to work harder and not cast insinuations" he told Sam George.
