The Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Senior Staff Association (KOSSA) and Health Workers Association have cautioned against attempts by some faceless individuals to malign the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the premier hospital, Dr Felix Anyah
In a statement jointly signed by the leadership of the association, the two bodies observed that issues about the seizure of a DNA machine belonging to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and resold to Trust Hospital as a result of the failure by Korle Bu to settle its indebtedness, happened three years before he assumed office.
According to the statement, the current CEO has no hand in the whole issue which has since been resolved and therefore described the publication as a deliberate attempt to drag his name into the mud.
“These were some of the issues KOSSA was speaking against that brought it into conclusion with the then administration. Meanwhile, we are reliably informed structures are being put in place especially, to restore clinical and investigative services in the foreseeable future and the DNA service is part of his restricting”, he said.
