Hon. Daniel Kwesi Ashiamah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Buem in the Oti Region, has cautioned against the politicization of issues relating to the Coronavirus pandemic, calling on political party communicators to educate the public anytime they get the opportunity to represent their various parties.
According to him, all politicians in Ghana must be united and desist from doing unnecessary politics that will distract the fight against Coronavirus.
“The focus of all political parties should be to save their people and stop unnecessary politics,” Daniel Kwesi Ashiamah told Kwaku Dawuro on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7.
“I’m pleading with all Ghanaians to take the precautionary measures serious to prevent the widespread of Coronavirus, he added.
“Let me caution that this is not a matter that should be turned into a regular political banter, this is a potential national crisis that we have to rally behind the flag and fight together.’’
Ninety-five more people have been confirmed to have contracted the Novel Coronavirus, sending Ghana’s total recorded cases from 2,074 to 2,169.
