Stop talking about Rawlings or... Youth group threatens Ephson, Pratt

The Volta Youth for Action has cautioned pollster, Ben Ephson Jr, and editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jr. to desist from making derogatory comments related to former President Rawlings.

The group says it will deal ruthlessly with the two if they continue to meddle in the affairs of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Spokesperson of the Volta Youth for Action, Emmanuel Tokamer told XYZ NEWS the group is inspired by the principles of Mr Rawlings and are not going to allow anyone to drag his name in the mud.

“Ben Ephson we all know that he always comes with his prediction and he claims he is a pollster but we’ve never seen any of his predictions that come to pass in this country of ours,” Mr. Tokamer posited.

He said Mr. Rawlings was only speaking on behalf of the footsoldiers of the party in his quest to foster unity into the party and thus does not warrant the attack on him by a section of the public.

Emmanuel Tokamer therefore stressed that if the two renowned journalists “dare to say anything against former President Rawlings, we’ll face them squarely.”
