Deputy Eastern Regional Minister, Joseph Tetteh has denied his purported resignation being circulated on social media.
Reports were rife that the Deputy Eastern Regional Minister has resigned following a resignation letter being circulated on social media, purported to have been written and signed by him.
But in a Press release issued on behalf of the Deputy Minister and signed by his Aide C.K Adabah asked the media and the general public to disregard the said letter because it is fictitious.
The statement further warned:”The Office of the Deputy Minister would like to use this medium to caution political detractors who are behind this scheme to desist from such unscrupulous and deceitful behaviour.”

SUPPOSED RESIGNATION OF THE DEPUTY EASTERN REGIONAL MINISTER
The attention of the Deputy Eastern Regional Minister has been drawn to a resignation letter circulating on social media, purported or alleged to have been written and signed by him. We would like to state, in unreserved and unequivocal terms, that the Deputy Minister, Hon. Joseph Tetteh, has NOT resigned.
The Office of the Deputy Minister would like to use this medium to caution political detractors who are behind this scheme to desist from such unscrupulous and deceitful behaviour.
We are, therefore, calling on the media and the general public to disregard the said letter because it is fictitious.
