Legal practitioner and journalist Egbert Faibille has dared former GIMPA rector Prof. Stephen Adei to drag him to court if he insists he owes him.
The outspoken academician is claiming Mr. Faibille Jnr owes him Gh¢2000.
According to him, the lawyer still has some arrears to settle over damages paid to him due to a legal suit he won against him in a series of defamation cases.
Speaking on personality profile show – Starr Chat – on Starr 103.5 FM on Wednesday, Prof. Adei noted a lot of personalities including Mr. Faibille Jnr, who is the publisher of the Ghanaian Observer, lampooned him over his leadership style while at GIMPA.
“He still owes me GHC2000,” Prof. Adei told his host Bola Ray.
“I’ve forgiven him because he is my son. You can’t do a transformation without some people feeling aggrieved,” the Academician stressed.
But responding to the charge, the ace journalist said he does not owe Prof. Adei any money.
“If Dr. Adei claims that I owe him GHC2000 being cost awarded against me by the trial High court, all he has to do is to file an entry of cost and have same served on me following which he can claim that I owe him. Until he goes through that procedure, he cannot say I owe him,” Mr. Faibille wrote in a rejoinder.
