Sunyani Ecobank supports Penkwase High Street JHS

The Sunyani branch of Ecobank Ghana, has donated assorted learning and teaching materials to the Sunyani High Street Junior School at Penkwase, a suburb of Sunyani in the Brong-Ahafo region.

The donation forms part of activities to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, its parent company.

The materials worth more than GH¢ 10,000 included 10 computers, 12 white boards, 12 pieces of board dusters, 2 boxes of board markers, 90 pieces of student chairs, among others

The Sunyani branch manager of Ecobank, Ebenezer Osew Gyamfi says the support is part of its charitable activities that seek to provide the needed amenities to communities.

Mr Osew Gyamfi says the donation is indicative of Ecobank's commitment to being a good corporate citizen.

He added that the bank will continue to conduct its business in an ethically acceptable manner towards all stakeholders. He urged the public to do business with Ecobank to experience real banking The headmaster of the school, Samuel Kofi Osei, thanked the management and staff of Ecobank for making the donation, which he said was going to greatly enhance teaching and learning.
