TD Jakes commends Action Chapel’s dev’t orientation

Renowned American charismatic preacher, Bishop T. D. Jakes has commended efforts by the Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM) to spur development in the country. The Senior Pastor of global humanitarian organisation, Potter’s House, is in Ghana for the much-anticipated IMPACT 2014 Summit organised by Action Chapel International.

Bishop Jakes told journalists at the headquarters of CAFM that he was impressed with the economic development in the country as well as efforts by the church to impact society positively.

“It’s very exciting to see the correlation between faith and community, to see a church that has a vision to include banks and hospitals and care for its people in practical ways.”

“It’s cutting edge thought at a needed time in any country, and so though I’ve only been here an hour or so, I’m really excited about the development that I’ve seen going on in the country, and in the church, and I think that they, one can lift the other, and vice versa without contradicting its tenets and elements of existence,” he observed.
