The TKMedia Foundation, in collaboration with its partners, has donated items worth 25,000 cedis to 65 needy widows in the Ashanti Region.

Led by OTEC FM journalist and member of the Journalists in Social Protection (JISOP), Jacob Agyenim Boateng, the foundation provided the widows with essential items such as rice, clothes, oil, soap, detergents, sardines, and transportation.

The donation drive was supported by major partners, including NAYAT Herbal Center, Ebenezer Assemblies of God, Dorcas Ministry at Bronx New York, Vesta Olis Limited, and numerous benevolent individuals who contributed in cash and kind.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the donation event on Wednesday, an Executive Member of the TKMedia Foundation, Elijah Donkor, a journalist with Opensuo FM, expressed gratitude to all the donors for their generous support.

"The gesture has been impactful, as some needy widows who were struggling to find food for Christmas received items that brought smiles to their faces," he noted.

Donkor reaffirmed the Foundation's commitment to supporting the needy in any way possible.

"We are committed to making a difference in the lives of the vulnerable, and we are grateful for the support of our partners and donors," he added.

Some of the beneficiaries, visibly moved, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the foundation and its partners for the assistance. They pledged to pray for everyone who contributed in any way to support the event, which was led by OTEC FM journalist Jacob Agyenim Boateng, popularly known as Nana Kokooto in media circles.

The donation reflects the foundation's dedication to supporting the needy and vulnerable in society and its commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those it serves.
