Why you should listen to her talk?
With Africa currently home to six of the world’s top 10 fastest growing economies, much is made about “Africa Rising”, a refreshing reversal of the global narrative that has branded the continent a malnourished child ever suckling the teat of Western aid. But if Africa’s people are not fostered along with her growing economies, the continent will remain vulnerable to foreign interests and forces beyond our control.
We’ve read that story before, and we know how it ends. My talk will focus on how Africans at home and Abroad can begin to write the continent’s next chapter.
Together.
