The founder and leader of Glorious Wave Chapel International Church, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, has directed the National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu to tell President Akufo-Addo that businesses in the country should be allowed to survive and their owners must eat.
According to him, he is not happy with the way businesses in this country are collapsing because of politics.
“Everybody must eat, everybody must live and I know when Chief Imam talks the President listens. So I want to plead through Chief to present to him, that we should be one…..whether NPP, NDC or PPP, everybody’s life must go on”, he said, when the Chief Imam paid a courtesy call on him Monday afternoon at his Sakumono residence.
Prophet Kobi who is also a former businessman indicated that when such businesses survive, the owners will be able to help in building the nation.
“Ghana will only be built by Ghanaians; nobody will come and build Ghana for us so we should be one and allow everybody to thrive,” he stated.
The man of God has been accusing President Akufo-Addo of collapsing businesses in the country especially, MenzGold, since he was sworn into office as Head of State.
At one of his Sunday services, the man of God stated that if the President does not understand governance, he and his appointees must go and learn.
“They have been destroying people’s businesses since they came into power by reason of political partisanship; and in my day, you don’t mess up anybody’s business. If they came for the nation to be better, as they said, then they must change because most businesses are on their knees because of their parochial, political partisan mind; and in my day, I say no to them” he said.
Prophet Kobi then asked "Why is it that only a few and [they] are enjoying while other businesses, they are finding all means to crush it including NAM1’s. They are wrong because people like NAM1, they should have brought his business under scrutiny, helped him review a few things and let him be moving on because it is a business and they have done it to most businesses and I put it to them, they must stop that thing because Ghana is not for them, it’s not a monarchy, it’s a presidential system."
The leader of Glorious Wave Chapel International Church on Monday April 1, hosted the National Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu at his Sakumono residence.
