Tension Mounts At Ayikai Doblo

If prompt steeps are not taken to arrest tension that is currently looming at Ayikai Doblo a town at Ga South District, sooner or latter a sad story would hit the nation.

The Sun can report that a section of the people in the area, mostly landguards were hiding behind some 'chieftaincy problems' in the town to cause havoc against some innocent people in the area.

The circumstance under which Henry Boye Lartey, the gran d son of the Mankrado of Ayikai Doblo was nearly killed when he was attacked and stabbed in his house on Thursday evening by a certain Otoo Amponsah, the son of the former Assemblyman for the area has raised a lot of agitations about the safety of lives and properties in the area.

The paper gathered that, Boye Lartey, who is now on admission at Korle-Bu Teaching hospital was chatting with his family members after Thursday's supper, when Otoo stormed the house and accused him and the Mankralo of casting a spell on his father Nii Djan Amponsah resulting in his sudden sickness, which has led to his admission in hospital.

According to The Sun sources, Otoo claimed that after his father was suddenly attacked by stroke disease the family went to consult an oracle and were informed that, the Mankralo of the town and Boye were behind his father's sudden sickness.

The paper learnt that before Boye Lartey could respond to the allegations, Otoo dashed from the house and returned with three other boys (names withheld) for security reasons and pounced on the defenseless victim and in the process stabbed his rib with a sharp knife, sending him sprawling to the ground.

He then took to his heels leaving the poor victim in pool of blood, and was immediate rushed to the Korle Bu Hospital for medical attention. As at the time of going to press, Otoo was still at large after a formal compliant had been lodged at Amasaman police station.
