As the confirmation of John Dramani Mahama as President-Elect settles in across the country, a number of prophecies regarding what was foretold of this emphatic win have been re-emerging online.

One of them is a prophecy delivered on December 31, 2019, by Ghanaian seer, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, where he boldly declared that President John Mahama would emerge victorious in the 2024 general elections.

The apostle, known for his insightful prophecies, told his congregation how he had received a divine revelation indicating that Mahama would ascend to the presidency and become one of Ghana’s most celebrated leaders.

In the video compilation that has been shared across several online platforms, the prophet is heard recounting his vision during a church service, describing a vivid dream in which he saw a figure adorned with stars and wrapped in the Ghanaian flag.

He added that in the dream, and upon closer examination, he recognised the individual as John Dramani Mahama. The vision also included women laying their cloths before Mahama in a gesture of reverence and honor.

"I was asleep when I saw that someone had been decorated with all the stars and the flag of Ghana, and God asked me to look up and then I saw the name, JDM - Mahama's nickname, and women had spread out their cloths on the floor for him to walk on.

"And God asked me to look at the time, and when I did, it was 2025. Look, in 2025, Mahama will be so popular, women will take off their cloths and lay them on the floor for him to walk on," he said.

He interpreted this as confirmation that Mahama would win the 2024 election and assume office in 2025.

“Whether you believe it or not, this shall come to pass,” he added.

The prophecy has since resurfaced after the declaration of the overwhelming and decisive win by John Dramani Mahama in the election, by the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa, on Monday, December 9.
