The Central Region is a cursed region causing prominent people who hail from there to die at the peak of their career because Dr. Kwame Nkrumah sold the region spiritually to deities, Founder and General Overseer of God’s Crown Chapel, Prophet Reindolph Oduro Gyebi popularly known as Eagle Prophet has alleged.

According to Eagle Prophet, the Founder of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Dr. Kwame Nkrumah out of the ten regions in the country chose to use the Central Region and its people as a sacrificial lamb in his thirst for power.

After series of consultation with the deities, Kwame Nkrumah decided to form the Convention People’s Party at Saltpond and use a cock as its emblem signifying a stronghold which he believes is the cause of the generational curse in the region.

“In the spiritual realm, it was agreed that most prominent people in the country should come from there and later be sacrificed to appease the gods”, he said.

This he believes is the reason most prominent people from Central die mysteriously citing examples of how Late President Atta Mills and former Vice Presidents Arkaah and Amissah-Arthur died.

According to him if that curse caused by Dr Kwame Nkrumah isn’t broken immediately, every prominent person who hails from the Central Region will die young.

His statement is in reaction to the death of the former Vice President, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur who died on 29th June at the 37 Military Hospital after he collapsed at the Air Force Gym.

Born on April 29, 1951, the economist, academic and politician was the sixth Vice-President of Ghana, in office from August 6, 2012 until January 7, 2017, under President John Dramani Mahama.

He previously served as the Governor of the Bank of Ghana from 2009 to 2012.

He was survived by a wife and two children.

A state burial will be held for him on July 27 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
