The FDA, others trying to collapse my business - CEO, COA Herbal Center

The Chief Executive Officer of COA Herbal Center, Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan has claimed that the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) and some other organizations are working hard to tarnish the reputation of COA FS and eventually collapse the business.

He made the statement in an interview on United Television (UTV) in reaction to the FDA’s report signed by their Chief Executive, Delese A.A. Darko that the COA FS product “showed excessive microbial, mould and yeast contamination”.

“It’s like they are trying to collapse the company. The fact that two bags of the product was contaminated does not mean all the products in the market was not good for our consumers … since we announced that we were trying to investigate and develop the cure for HIV/AIDS, many people have developed a scheme to stop us,” he said.

Prof. Duncan, however, stated that they have followed the directives of the FDA by releasing statements to their distributors and customers to return the products.

“We planned that since they brought the report, we would try our best to take those products out of the market. We even released a statement on social media to customers and distributors to return the products,” he said.

He also added that the COA FS product is of high quality and has been globally recognized as they have customers from all over the world, and none of these customers gave a bad account of their experience with the product.

“People all over the world buy our products very fast once it hits the market. When your products are out in the market and consumers come to complain to you that they had some bad experiences with the product, as a manufacturer you have to advise them to stop using it, but there was nothing like that. Nobody complained to me,” he stated.

Prof. Duncan, further explaining the ‘agenda’ by some organizations to ‘destroy’ the reputation of COA FS, stated that those organizations do not want Ghana to have the glory of being the country with the cure for HIV and coronavirus.

“Their Interest is that even if there would be a cure for HIV or coronavirus, it shouldn’t come from Ghana,” he concluded.
