"Row over Busomtwi-Sam's will", finds place on the front page of the Statesman.

The paper says Mrs Cynthia Busomtwi-Sam, widow of the late Mr Albert Busomtwi-Sam, former deputy Minister of the Interior, is contemplating court action to challenge the much-talked about shocking and inhuman will of her late husband.

The Statesman quotes a source it describes as reliable, as saying that what is holding back the calm and reserved widow from the intended action is her fear of publicity that she is likely to attract. The paper says when it contacted the widow's lawyer, Mr Hoenyefia Badzo-Lumor, current chairman of the Western Regional branch of the Ghana Bar Association, he said he was still trying to persuade Mrs Busomtwi-Sam to damn the consequence and take the matter up before it is too late.

Reports say Mr Busomtwi-Sam left nothing in his will for the wife but rather, bequethed a substantial part of his assests to his girl friend. GRi
