A Christian newspaper, The Watchman, which focuses on uncovering religious apostasy in the country, was re-launched in Accra last week.
The first copy was auctioned for ?500,000.
The eight-page newspaper was first launched fifteen years ago. Speaking to The Accra Mail at the launch, the editor, Mr. Divine P. Kumah said the Watchman Gospel Ministry - the publishers are hoping to increase the circulation from 3,000 to 20,000 during the first year of the re-launch.
Talking on the theme, " Justice, accountability and national reconciliation," he said justice requires that wrong doers be punished.
An appeal for funds generated over ?6 million.
