The Minority staged a walkout when President Akufo-Addo was about to present his 4th State of the Nation Address in Parliament, Thursday.

After the walkout, they held a press conference to tell Ghanaians the reason for their action and during the question and answer section, a journalist asked if they were going to apologize for "walking out when the National anthem was ongoing".

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Thursday, February 20, delivered his 4th State of the Nation Address in Parliament of Ghana.

The address is in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution which states that “the President shall, at the beginning of each session of Parliament and before a dissolution of Parliament, deliver to Parliament a message on the state of the nation.”

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo accounted for his stewardship during the previous year and projected the plans of the government for the coming year.

Sectors such as energy, finance, health and the economy, in general, featured prominently in the address.
