Accra, Sept. 24, GNA - Ms Joyce Aryee, Chief Executive of Ghana Chamber of Mines, on Wednesday appealed to Ghanaians to begin to think of what they could do for the State and not what the state could do for them.
Ms Aryee made the appeal at the Ghana Employers Association's 43rd Annual General Meeting and Lectures in Accra.
She said many Ghanaians thought that it was the State that should take care of them and that such an attitude did not augur well for the development of the country.
Ms Aryee stressed the need for employers to sit down with employees to discuss pertinent issues that affected them in order engender industrial peace.
