The NDC Canada Chapter Organizer, Michael Ologo, has asserted that the upcoming general elections will be a fight for the future generation of the republic; hence, Ghana needs an experienced president to reset the economy onto the right path.

The former NDC parliamentary aspirant of Yilo Krobo in the Eastern Region posited that the current NPP government has no clue about how to fix the mess they have plunged the nation into, adding that the return of John Dramani Mahama to take over the affairs of the country is the only solution in this defining moment.

Speaking on Sankofa 101.3 FM, a Toronto-based radio station, as a guest with political show host Elder Appiah Kubi, Mr. Ologo listed several infrastructural developments and social economic policies and programs undertaken by the NDC administration as examples of how committed the party is to the plight of Ghanaians as opposed to the NPP.

"This election is our fight for the future generation. Looking at our economic policies—free tuition for first-year university students, youth empowerment and training programs, etc.—in our manifesto, former President John Mahama and Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang are the answers to the economic woes we face as a nation in these defining moments," he said.

The NDC Canada Chapter organizer thus urged Ghanaians in the diaspora to spread the good works of the NDC, go out in their numbers on Dec 7, 2024, and vote for change.
