Ghanaian actor Clement Bonny known well as Mr. Beautiful has shed more light on the 24-hour economy policy of the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama based on his understanding.

It would be recalled that John Mahama disclosed that when voted into power, he would implement a 24-hour economy where businesses could run smoothly with staff working on different shifts all day and all night.

According to Mr. Beautiful, the 24-hour economy of John Mahama will make the processes at offices like the passports office and DVLA smooth.

He added that once a passport or driver’s license is applied for, it should be ready in a couple of days, unlike the old system where it takes up to 3 months to 1 year before these documents are processed. He further described the 24-hour economy as a great help to Ghanaians which will also make life easier.

“If the passport office is working 24 hours, you won’t have to wait for your passport to be processed within 3 months. You should be able to get your passport at least in the space of 2-3 days. People will have to come and work per the shift they have been allocated”.

“The same applies to the DVLA. If you apply for your driver’s license, within days you should have it. 24-hour economy should expedite our lives. It will make life simple”. He explained

He further stated that contractors will be able to work more efficiently and easily, adding that a lot of Ghanaians are complaining about the 24-economy policy because they are not used to it.
