Time to build a better Ghana - Kwame Pianim

A member of the NPP, Kwame Pianim, says the time has come for all to rally behind a new hope in uniting as one people to build a better Ghana. He said Ghanaians must cooperate to build a safe, secure and robust country.

Mr. Pianim made the call at a cock-tail party for participants and delegates of the National Economic Forum.

He said as leaders of the nation, they must sometimes put away their differences and work to improve the living standards of the people.

He said he is thrilled to be part of the forum, adding that he was part of the first one that took place in the United States.

The Eastern Regional Minister, Julius Debrah, who together with the Asuogyaman DCE, Thomas Ampem-Nyarko, hosted the cock-tail party, said the objective of the reception is to showcase the tourism potential in the Eastern Region.

Mr. Debrah, therefore, entreated the participants to seek investors for the region in their travels.

He added that the Eastern Region is leading as far as local tourism potential is concerned.

The Asuogyaman DCE, Thomas Ampem-Nyarko, said, the focus of the district is to sell its tourism potential and sites to the outside world.

He added that, Aqua-culture in tilapia farming is a big business to invest in and, therefore, urged the people to invest in it.
