Top adb management member to be grilled by BNI

It has come to light that, the on-going troubles at the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) are of internally-orchestrated aimed at tarnishing the image of the bank’s Managing Director, Mr. Stephen Kpordzi and the board.

According to intelligence picked by The Informer, a top management officer of the bank, who has vow to, “at all cost”, oust Mr. Kpordzi, has connived with leadership of the bank’s union to push through the clandestine agenda.

This top official (name withheld), according to intelligence gathered, soon after last Wednesday's meeting of management with government officials, went {to} debrief some members of his Union of Industry, Commerce and Finance Workers (UNICOF) at a popular joint at Labone in Accra.

With the name of meeting place-joint on ice for now, the clandestine activities of the said top management member came to light when he was trailed by some operatives from the state security apparatus, as he entered the joint.

This top officer, who is said to be working seriously in connivance with some aggrieved customers who have huge financial obligations with the bank to settle, will be invited for questioning by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI).

Contrary to media reports that the bank has been asked to suspend its decision to float shares at the Ghana Stock Exchange (GES) after a management meeting with some government officials, credible checks by The Informer, revealed otherwise.

According to information available to this paper, management was asked to ensure that there is peace within the financial institution, particularly, workers front, before listing on the Stock Exchange. More anon!
