Former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ofosu Ampofo, has urged Ghanaians to transfer their anger through their thumb on December 7, 2024.
To him, Ghanaians should not fight or shout but vote massively against the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The former NDC Chairman was speaking to the people of the Guan constituency when he made this known.
To him, they have suffered underdevelopment because the current government has decided to hinder them from representation in 2020 and even in the 2024 election.
"People of Santrokofi, Akpafu, Lipke and Lolobi are going to vote more than 100% for the NDC. For 95%, I don't accept it. You'll have to give 100%, and if there is a possibility of going beyond 100% to show that your anger you'll not fight, you'll not insult and that your anger will be transferred through your thumb and on that day, December 7 2024, go there with all the anger in your heart and vote for John Dramani Mahama to become President of the Republic of Ghana.
"The government has denied you your representation and development. If you had an MP for four years, the MP will every year get their share of the common fund and use that common fund to supplement the district work to develop the constituency," he said.
