Renowned legal luminary and academic, Tsatsu Tsikata Esq., is set to speak at the 14th Leadership Dialogue Series of the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) on August 28th, 2024.

The event, which takes place at the University of Ghana’s School of Law Auditorium at 6:00 pm, seeks to address critical issues surrounding governance, economic transformation, and human development in Ghana.

Mr. Tsikata, Esq., will deliver a keynote address titled, “Can Ghana Rise from the Ashes?”

Mr. Tsikata’s keynote will provide an in-depth analysis of the systemic challenges hindering the nation’s progress while offering strategic pathways toward national recovery.

His address aims to spark meaningful discourse on the pressing issues facing Ghana and explore potential solutions that can drive sustainable growth.

To enhance the conversation, the event will include a documentary featuring the experiences, hopes, and aspirations of both young and elderly Ghanaians.

This visual narrative will set the stage for a multi-generational perspective, enriching Mr. Tsikata’s recommendations.

In addition to addressing Ghana’s future, the dialogue will also tackle the ongoing debate regarding the nation’s historical narrative, challenging the current government’s interpretation of key events.

The event will be chaired by Dr. Christina Amoako-Nuama, a former Minister for Environment, Science, and Technology, and a two-time Senior Presidential Advisor, adding further gravitas to the occasion.

The Centre for Social Justice is known for its dedication to promoting progressive social change and advocating for people-centred development in Ghana. The Leadership Dialogue Series, CSJ’s flagship civic education platform, fosters mass political participation and nurtures patriotic values through engaging discussions with prominent national figures.

For those interested in Ghana’s trajectory and future, this dialogue promises to be an intellectually stimulating and timely event.
