Twellium Company LTD donates ¢5000 to Eid-ul-Fitr festivity

Twellium Industrial company limited, producers of Rush energy drink, Verna mineral water and Rasta Choco-malt made a donation of products worth five thousand cedis as part of their corporate social responsibility towards the 2017 Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.

The products distributed across the length and breadth of the country included special donations made to the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, the national chief Imam, the Hajj board and the Eid planning committee.

Also, donations were made on Monday, June 26 at the Black Stars square to the deputy captain of the Black Stars, Andrew Dede Ayew and Shiekh I.C Quaye with free packs given to members of the Muslim community at the National Eid prayer ground.

Speaking on behalf of the Twellium Industrial Company Limited in an interview, Mr Mustapha Anass said the gesture was extended as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility which according to him, Twellium takes so much interest in.

He said the company has supported the entire Muslim community throughout the Ramadan activities adding that the donation is to complete the support the company gave the Muslim community throughout the fasting period.

Mr Mustapha Anass was however quick to add that the Twellium Industrial company limited does not only support Muslim activities but also Christian Activities because it is a way to consolidate the peaceful coexistence of the two major religions in the country.

“We have supported the Muslim community throughout the fasting period. Today presents a good opportunity for us to finish it up and that is why we thought it wise to support the Eid celebration with this donation. Let me add that we do not support only Muslim activities but also that of Christians because we admire the peaceful nature the two major religions in our country have lived and I believe, will continue to live,” He said.

Beneficiaries of the giveaways at the Black Stars Square expressed their profound admiration for the company and urged them not to relent on their efforts.
