Twellium Foundation donates to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital

Korle Bu Teaching hospital has received support from Twellium Foundation to support the fight against coronavirus.

As part of contributions to prevent the spread of COVID-19,Twellium foundation together with Verna changing lives team have donated to the Korle Bu Teaching hospital and some vulnerable persons in the society in the combat against the deadly Pandemic in Ghana.

Speaking at the presentation, Chief Marketing Officer of the Twellium Industrial Company, Mr. Ali Ajami said the company cannot turn its back on the good people of Ghana in these trying moments.

According to Mr. Ali Ajami the donation forms part of the company's call of duty as the CSR Company of the year and also as part of its social responsibility.

The products which were presented included PPE's, Verna Mineral Water, and many others.

During the presentation to the facility, the health workers expressed ‘deep appreciation’ for the donation and encouraged more institutions to help in the fight against the pandemic.

The Chief Executive Officer Dr. Daniel Asare who received that items on behalf of Korle bu Teaching hospital in his speech expressed his profound gratitude to Twellium Industrial Company for the kind gesture.

Dr. Daniel admonished that the donation is one of the massive support they have received since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moreover ‘the Verna Changing Lives campaign has donated and embarked on countless charitable obligations and campaigns before the pandemic and will continue to support families and individuals who have been worst affected.

Twellium Industrial Company through its foundation has donated to numerous health and government institutions and some communities in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and will continue to support institutions, families and individuals who have been worst affected with food packages.
