Two private security personnel have been murdered by unknown assailants in the Western region.

The deceased persons were said to be at post at a rice distributor shop known as ‘Be Kind Enterprise’ when they were killed in the early hours of Sunday, June 25.

Personnel from the Kwesimintsim police command said the two, identified as Sulley Seidu and Umar Jallo, had their hands tied behind their back with sponges and ropes by their attackers.

A Police source told Starr News that three cast iron pinch bars were found at the crime scene which the police suspect might have been used to murder the two.

The Police further disclosed that the deceased had blood oozing from their nostrils with deep cut on their backs and foreheads. The assailants, however, could not break into the shop.

Meanwhile, brother of one of the deceased is pleading with the police to release the body for burial in accordance with Islamic tenets since he is a Muslim.
