Management of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has issued measures and guidelines of conduct to be taken by students for their end of the year and mid-semester online examinations.
This follows the school’s management, notifying students of a new Learning Management System (LMS) despite the dissatisfaction with an online test portal by the students.
According to a statement signed by the PRO Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Andy Ofori-Birikorang and copied to GhanaWeb; “All mid-semester and end of year semester examinations for all departmental courses shall be in the form of take-home papers.”
The university further explains all students will be given multiple attempts for all objective multiple-choice questions on the LMS Moodle.
Meanwhile, many students of the university have called for a revision of the online portal since it does not work efficiently. They have registered their complaints about the website crashing when a large number of students are logged on.
