Authorities at the University of Education, Winneba have postponed the impending mandatory Mid-Semester Exams to be taken by students.

The exams which was supposed to start tomorrow 9th April have been postponed to allow the students ample time to prepare for the exams which forms a major part of their assessment.

This comes after the University Management and the Academic board were tasked by the Governing Council to review the academic calendar to cater for the loss of time and ensure that students and staff collaboratively return academic work to normalcy.

Following this, lecturers have been tasked to assist the students in revising topics taught to enable students who couldn’t prepare well for the exams while at home to take advantage of such lessons.

The new date for the exams is next week Monday 16th of April.

The University of Education, Winneba re-opened today, April, 08, 2019 after a violent student protest led to the University being closed down for some three weeks.

Three of the eight dismissed lecturers have since Friday been reinstated by the Governing Council. They are Prof. Ephraim Avea Nsoh, Dr. Emmanuel Osei Sarpong, and Dr. Frimpong Kwaku Duku.
