The construction of the University of Ghana Teaching Hospital is almost complete, Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a Deputy Minister of Communication, has revealed.
According to him, when completed, the hospital will be one of Ghana most advanced facilities.
The multi-million dollar project is located on a 400-acre land behind the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research of the university. It is being constructed by the University of Ghana through a loan acquired by the Government of Ghana from the Israeli government.
Mr. Kwakye Ofosu on Monday, August 1, tweeted: “617 UG Teaching Hospital, Ghana's first Quaternary, and most advanced hospital near completion.”
