Tarkwa (WR), July 15, GNA - Authorities of University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with authorities of University of South Australia (UNISA) to undertake exchange programmes at Tarkwa.
Professor Daniel Mireku Gyimah, Vice Chancellor of UMaT, signed while Associated Professor Jonas Addai-Mensah, Post Graduate Research Degree Director of (UNISA) signed on behalf of his Vice Chancellor Professor Peter Hoj.
Professor Gyimah said the MOU would in addition offer opportunities for training of staff and research work. Prof. Addai-Mensah said it would be ideal for both universities to collaborate in education, cultural development and research. 15 July 07
