A member of Convention People’s Party (CPP) Disciplinary Committee, Madam Araba Bentsi Enchill has appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo not to sell Ghana back into slavery again.
She said the final decision on the Military deal with the United States of America should be taken with all political parties in the country.
In an exclusive interview with MyNewsGh.com’s Asana Gordon at her residence, Madam Bentsi Enchill observed that the siting of Military ‘base’ in Ghana by the US is not President Nana Addo’s decision to make but has to be a public decision and national debate as well.
Madam Bentsi Enchill who is also a National Vice Chairperson hopeful warned President Nana Addo not to make any mistake by putting innocent Ghanaians under Slavery again.
“Nana Addo you know this is wrong because I know in my Spirit that you know you shouldn’t do this so please give back the money to them if you have collected the money,” she told Asana Gordon.
We don’t want this in our country because we are not Americans, we are Ghanaians so Americans not see us as equal as to them” she added.
Madam Bentsi Enchill explained that the Military agreement with the United States would “allow the Americans to come to our country and dominate Ghanaians.”
She alleged that Americans, jealous of Gaddafi’s success in Libya, “went in there and killed Gaddafi and now selling Libyans as slaves.”
She called on the general public irrespective of their political affiliation to wake-up and join hands to condemn the US military pact “to keep our integrity and dignity.”
“We have our own army so we should develop and strengthen our army for them to protect us since America has a permanent interest but they are not permanent friends” Madam Bentsi Enchill stated.
She said Africans must unite and come together and build the African army so that we can be able to defend African so that “we will not go and challenge anybody”.
