UT donates to six institutions

Accra, Dec. 15, GNA - UT Financial Services has donated cheques totalling GH¢ 27,000.00 to six non-government organisations, to enhance their activities.

The highest donation of GH¢6,000 went to Hope For Kids Club, a cha= rity, which gives full educational bursary to needy children. The Ghana Heart Foundation, Ghana National Trust Fund (GNTF) and the= Ghana Society for the Blind each received GH¢5,000 to support their programmes for th= e vulnerable in

society.

The remaining two organisations, Family Outreach Ghana and Light Outreach Foundation,

received GHC3,000.00 each. The Director of Operations, Capt. Budu Koomsom (rtd) said it was the=

tradition of the

company to give back to society. He said the company had followed with keen interest the development and progress being

made by the institutions in their respective roles to make life better fo= r the needy in society. "We see the work that is being done and we are happy to support your=

cause. We hope

this will push your good work," he said, adding that UT was providing the=

support so that as

many people as possible could get assistance from the institutions that received the donation. He urged other companies to emulate UT's efforts to help cater for t= he less privileged in

society. The representatives of the beneficiary institutions expressed their gratitude to UT for the

assistance.
