An angry Ghanaian driver working for an American multinational online transportation network, Uber has threatened to deal with a female customer for cancelling her booking after she made him moved to the pick-up point.
According to reports, though the customer was charged GHc5.00 for the cancellation, the driver felt she has wasted his time and fuel, therefore resorted to the threats.
The driver, whose name was only given as Abass, in a text message cited by Yen.com.gh to the client threatened to deal with the client ‘spiritually’ in just three days.
“Never think you are going to get it easy for making me drive here and wasted fuel. I'm going to deal with you spiritually. I give you 3 days and you will learn from that," Abass sent to the Uber client today around 3:59pm.
A source who revealed to yen.com.gh explained that, she has been Uber customer for some time now, but Abass’ conduct towards her sister is so appalling and unprofessional that, they are treating the matter as a clear case of threat.
She explained that, her sister was forced to cancel her booking because, the Uber driver was struggling to locate her, despite her continues effort in helping him find his way through.
She also added that, they are currently holding onto the text message as an evidence, to make formal Police complaint against the driver and the company.
