Ueasy Calm In National Security...

….AS HAMIDU FLARES UP

There is a growing state of uneasiness within the National Security, as what is emerging as a Northern clique feels peeved at the raw deal being meted out to it, since the eruption of the Dagbon crisis.

It stated that following the events in Yendi, top officials from the Dagbon area within the security service, as well as those in related Government agencies either resigned or were forced to resign.

However, General Joshua Hamidu, who was then in charge of National Security, went home, but still maintained three official vehicles.

However, when Gen. Hamidu, a few months ago, sent one of the cars for minor repairs, it was impounded, quickly re-sprayed, given a new registration number and then re-allocated for use, by a woman, believed to be a BNI official.

When Gen. Hamidu was informed about the “back-door” deal, he was reported to have flown into fits and anger and bellowed:

“Is that how these people want to treat me?”
