Use Christmas to embrace Jesus Christ - CACI

Christmas is celebrated by Christians in most parts of the world Christmas is celebrated by Christians in most parts of the world

The Reverend George Asante, Resident Pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church International Headquarters, Osu, on Tuesday appealed to Ghanaians to use the Christmas season to embrace Jesus Christ in all their endeavours.

He said Christmas is period to believe in Jesus Christ, “Without Jesus Christ you have no life and if you take Jesus Christ out of this world, it would become chaotic. The world has nothing to offer us but if we believe in Jesus Christ we will have eternal life.”

Rev. Asante was speaking at a special church service in Accra to mark the birth of Jesus Christ on the theme: “The Fullness of God revealed.”

The service saw children of the Church entertaining the congregation to gospel songs and choreography.

The Resident Pastor noted that it was impossible to take out the name Jesus Christ from the Bible adding; “If Jesus was taken out of the Bible, it would only remain a book”.

He said the Jews in the Bible did not believe in Jesus Christ but had their faith in the law, which they thought could set them free.

Rev. Asante said God revealed Himself through His son Jesus Christ, who came to the world to redeem man from condemnation.

He appealed to other churches who focused on preaching prosperity to project the “belief in Jesus Christ.

“You need to have Jesus Christ before obtaining prosperity”.
