Vice President, Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur left Accra Monday for Schloss Spiez, Switzerland to attend the Adam Smith Seminars.
The seminar, which is slated for June 25 and 26 of June, is a gathering of global economists, finance ministers, central bankers, chief executives of corporations and people in academia from all five continents to discuss regional and global economic issues.
A press statement from the Office of the President said the Vice President had been scheduled to address the gathering on: “The Present Conditions, the Economic Policy and the Outlook for the Economy and Investments in Ghana”.
The vice president was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr Kweku Richetts-Hagan. Mr. Amissah-Arthur is expected to return on Saturday 29th June 2013.
