The Former Member of Parliament for the Builsa North Constituency, Timothy Awontiirim Ataboadey has described the behaviour of the Deputy Chairperson for the Vetting Committee, Hon Adwoa Safo as unparliamentary and must be called to order. He stressed that Hon, she had exhibited traits of youthful exuberance.

The former parliamentarian who appeared on the First Show on the First News Network claimed he first thought Adwoa was an announcer of the Committee until he found out that she was actually one of the leaders.

When the host of the show, Annie Afua Ampofo quizzed him on why he described the Hon. member as an announcer, Hon Ataboadey said “I thought she was an announcer because she was unnecessarily announcing things on the committee and making comments that were unparliamentary…’’

A disclaimer was issued by the host of the program to disassociate the platform from the comment as Hon. Ataboadey refused to withdraw the remark.
