Queenie Akuffo, the woman who was alleged to have inserted a dildo into another woman’s vagina, claims the alleged victim owes her GHS600.
Ms Akuffo revealed this after she was acquitted and discharged on Wednesday [29 March] morning after the court, presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku, ruled that the alleged victim consented to the act.
“First of all I knew I was innocent from the beginning so I just thank God that the judge was able to know what was going on, because she rather owes me, so I’m even surprised all these things are happening. I leave her to God. She owes me GHS600. She came to borrow money from me to take care of her children, two kids. I’ve been very careful with friends…” she told journalists after the trial.
According to the court, a video documenting the alleged act revealed that the alleged victim was in full support of the act.
The judge held that the video showed that when Queenie inserted the dildo into the victim's vagina, she (the victim) was fully aware and did not protest.
In the said video, the judge held that the victim, Janet Amankwa, was seen urging the accused person to perform the act.
Ms Amankwa told the court that she was intoxicated and, therefore, did not know what happened to her, but the judge said: "If she was intoxicated and did not know what happened, how could she tell the doctor what happened to her."
