The defeated presidential aspirant of the opposition NDC, Dr Kwesi Botchwey has urged Ghanaians to vote for the NDC in the December general election.
He also called on NDC members to unite behind Professor Mills to ensure victory for the NDC. Dr Botchwey made the appeal during a tour of the (Gomoa West) Constituency with Professor Mills. Other members on the tour include Dr Tony Aidoo, Kwamena Ahwoi, Kofi Totobi Quakye, Dr Ahmed Mustapha, Mr Ohene Agyekum and Ama Benyiwa Doe who is contesting the Gomoa West parliamentary seat unopposed.
Dr. Botwe said in spite of what happened during the party?s last congress to elect a flagbearer party members must work together to unseat the NPP government which according to him has failed to transform the lives of people. Some supporters of Dr Botwe were beaten and some manhanded by some followers of Professor Mills during the congress to elect of flagbearer but Dr Botwe said the party must move forward in unity.
Professor Mills on his part urged Ghanaians to reject the NPP, since it has failed to deliver on its promises. He said NDC government under him will transform the lives of Ghanaians.
