Vote NPP to Power Again- Official

Asofan, (GAR) March 9, GNA - Ghanaians have been called upon to register in their numbers to enable them vote massively for the NPP Government to continue its developmental projects during the forthcoming elections.

Mr. Kofi Appiah-Kubi NPP chairman for Asofan Electoral Polling Agents in the Greater Accra Region, made the call at a general meeting by the electorate of five communities.

The communities are Asofan Ofankor, Amamoley, Omanjor and Ayawaso. Mr. Appiah-Kubi said within the three years that the NPP Government had been in power, it had tackled so many developmental projects throughout the country.

He mentioned some of the projects, as the construction of bridges and rehabilitation of drainage systems and the free mass cocoa spraying exercise.

Mrs. Catharine Tanoh, area council chairperson for Ofankor electoral area, who chaired the function called on chiefs of the area to refrain from chieftaincy and land disputes and offer lands for the government for meaningful projects such as markets, schools and clinics.

Mrs. Tanoh called on women to form societies so as to benefit from the Ga District Common Funds and urged them to send their children to schools.
