More Info On Spoofing

Someone spoofing the Ghanaweb Webmaster, has been sending email with a virus attachment. Please do not open any attachments sent to you from me i.e akoto@ghanaweb.com or webmaster@ghanaweb.com.

No member of the Ghanaweb staff sends emails using these addresses. We only receive emails sent to these addresses

A virus has surfaced where the e-mail message has the following details (NOTE: this is an example):

From: a spoofed (faked) address
Subject: Re: Your website, Re: Your product, Re: Your letter
Message: Your file is attached. Please read the attached file.
Attachment varies (for example): your_website.pif, your_product.pif , your_letter.pif
