The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, stormed the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in the Ashanti Region to embark on a door-to-door campaign for the flagbearer of his party, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman was well received by the constituents of Atwima Nwabiagya North, who displayed remarkable energy and enthusiasm.

During his tour, Chairman Wontumi was mobbed by huge crowds as he went through communities in the constituency, engaging with various segments of society, including the chiefs, religious leaders, youth groups, traders, and market women.

He visited bustling market centres at Barekese, Asuofia-Asamang, and Koforidua, conducted door-to-door campaigns, and engaged directly with the people in the streets and their homes.

Chairman Wontumi also inspected some projects in the constituency, including the Agenda 111 project at Barekese and the John Agyekum Kufuor TVET Centre at Dabaa.

The NPP has targeted 85% of the votes in the Ashanti Region for the pending December 7, 2024, presidential election.
