Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus was not happy with the persistent scolding from Frank Kwaku Appiah, alias Appiah Stadium, who is a supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The West Ham United star was forced to respond to Appiah Stadium, who kept chiding him and accusing him of not doing his best for Ghana.

The unfortunate incident happened at the Prempeh I International Airport when Kudus and the rest of the Black Stars team were preparing to fly to Morocco for the game against Niger.

Kudus had stopped to take photos with airport staff who were happy to share moments with the Premier League star.

Appiah Stadium, who was present at the airport, kept on criticizing Kudus, questioning why Kudus is unable to replicate his club form at the national team level.

Mohammed Kudus initially ignored him to focus on the fans, but Appiah Stadium would not slow down with the negative remarks, forcing Kudus to respond.

Fed up with the conduct of Appiah Stadium, Kudus retorted, “Do you need the goals more than me?”

Airport staff and some Ghanaians who were present urged Appiah Stadium to stop harassing the footballer, but Appiah Stadium would have none of that.

Kudus eventually left the scene to join his teammates and coaches, who flew out to Morocco on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

The Black Stars will, on Monday, September 9, take on Niger in their second game of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Black Stars lost their opening game 0-1 to Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
