A video circulating on social media has captured an incident involving a man believed to be in his late twenties, who a group of youths forced to wash off paint depicting the colours of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In the video, the man, who had painted himself in the NPP's signature colours, is confronted by three young men.
According to the commentary accompanying the video, the man had allegedly adorned himself in the party's colours and was begging for alms in traffic.
The youths, allegedly affiliated with the NPP, were visibly angered by the man's actions.
They confronted him, forcibly pouring water over him to wash off the paint.
The man can be seen struggling against the group, shouting for help, and calling out to a police officer who, the commentator claims, was present but did not intervene.
