A group of armed robbers who attempted to rob Rahama Forex Bureau at Lapaz, a suburb of Accra, have been trapped.

A video from the scene of the incident, which has gone viral, showed how a number of policemen surrounded the forex bureau.

According to reports, locked inside the forex bureau were the robbers, as police surrounded them at Lapaz.

The police officers who initially arrived at the scene of the incident surrounded the bureau, while awaiting backup.

One of the videos showed several well-armed police officers in formation in front of the forex bureau, likely waiting to take action.

The armed robbers were locked inside the forex bureau as police surrounded them in Lapaz.

Although police responded early, it’s been reported that no arrest has been made and the suspected robbers escaped through the back door of the forex bureau.
